Two ways the fee is calculated
The fee is always calculated in one of two ways. For quick jobs the customer pays the posted price as it stands, and the FixIt fee is taken from the tradesperson's pay. For an urgent call-out and a booking for a date it is the other way around — the fee is added to the price the customer pays, and the tradesperson keeps the full price.
For an urgent call-out and a booking the fee is also capped at 2 430 Kč — it does not grow beyond that amount, even on an expensive job.
Quick jobs: fee taken from pay
The customer pays exactly the posted price. The FixIt share is then deducted from the amount that goes to the tradesperson. The rate is tiered and is not capped.
| up to 5 000 Kč | 15 % |
| above 5 000 Kč | 10 % |
Urgent call-out and a booking: fee on top of the price
For these two modes the fee is added to the price of the work and the customer pays it on top. The tradesperson thus receives the full agreed price. Both modes have the fee capped at 2 430 Kč.
| up to 5 000 Kč | 15 % |
| above 5 000 Kč | 10 % |
| up to 5 000 Kč | 8 % |
| 5 000 Kč – 8 000 Kč | 7 % |
| 8 000 Kč – 10 000 Kč | 6 % |
| 10 000 Kč – 20 000 Kč | 5 % |
| above 20 000 Kč | 4 % |
Tips go entirely to the tradesperson
When a customer adds a tip, FixIt takes nothing from it — the tradesperson gets 100 %.
FAQ
- Why is the fee taken from my pay on quick jobs, but not elsewhere?
- For quick jobs the price is posted publicly and the customer pays it unchanged — so the fee is taken from your share. For an urgent call-out and a booking the price is set individually, so the fee is added on for the customer and you receive the full price of the work.
- Does the fee cap apply to quick jobs too?
- No. The 2 430 Kč cap applies to an urgent call-out and a booking for a date. For quick jobs the rate is tiered, but with no upper cap.
- Does FixIt take anything from the tip?
- No. The tip goes entirely to the tradesperson, without any fee.
