Olivia Henderson

My name is Olivia Henderson, I know what you're thinking - what an unusual name, well, my dad is from America and my mom is Czech. I'm still a college student and I live with my grandmother. Although I try to know how to do everything, there are things I can't handle yet. My grandmother and I have struggled several times with irresponsible tradespeople who didn't do quality work, charged more than they should have, or it simply took them four times longer than they originally said. We didn't have much luck with honest tradespeople and we also kept running into the fact that they rarely had time.

But when I talked to a few people in the industry, they told me they'd like to have more work and that at the beginning they struggled for jobs themselves before they got more clients. And that's when I had an idea: why does this have to be so complicated? Why in today's age, when we have an app for everything we can think of, isn't there a reliable and well-functioning app for connecting tradespeople and clients – just like we have apps for food delivery, grocery shopping, or ordering taxi services?

When I visualized and sketched the idea, I knew that with proper execution it was worth its weight in gold. Two years later, we're at the present, where we're working full steam ahead with a small team of people on developing an app that will be released in the middle of next year.

We're a Czech company and our values include honesty, transparency, and ambition – to take this project to the rest of the world, show what Czechs are capable of, and help modern families, single mothers, and everyone who sometimes needs a little help with their worries.

Lukáš Přibík

My name is Lukáš Přibík and technology has fascinated me since I was little. I always had a need to take everything apart, examine it, and improve it – whether it was toys or later my first computer. I enjoyed replacing parts with better ones, looking for what could be speeded up and pushed forward.

I did get into university, but honestly – it didn't interest me much. After the first semester, I ended it and decided to go my own way. I started making websites for clients and gradually moved through smaller projects to a larger company. There I gained experience and learned basically everything I could need.

After eight years of employment, however, I felt I wanted to create something of my own. With a friend, we founded a self-service gym MyTime and instead of choosing from existing booking systems, I started developing my own. Thanks to my nature – having the need to constantly improve the product – my colleague and I created a functional system. But over time I found that for it to be competitive, it would require much more time than I originally intended. The enthusiasm and confidence in a successful product in me decreased and I realized that it actually wasn't the one.

That brought me here – to the present. I joined forces with Livi and we embarked on a project in which I see a huge future instead. It's something that makes sense, that I enjoy, and where I finally feel like this is exactly the path I want to take.
