Question 1

How much will it cost me?

Accepted Answer

The professional sets the price, not us - you see the price or the offers before any work starts, and only then do you confirm. The app is free for customers, and you pay for the finished job in the app, with no cash.

Question 2

How fast will someone arrive?

Accepted Answer

In Prague a tradesperson can be with you within tens of minutes - we start looking for someone available nearby the moment you send the request. Scheduled work and Marketplace jobs are available across Czechia.

Question 3

What if nobody responds?

Accepted Answer

You pay nothing. You can cancel the request at any time, edit the brief, or switch it to a scheduled slot when more professionals are free.

Question 4

Who is coming to my home?

Accepted Answer

Every partner is manually checked before we let them onto the platform. You see who is on the way in the app before they arrive, and you rate the work once it is done.

Question 5

What if I am not satisfied?

Accepted Answer

Write to us at info@fixit.app. The job and the messages are stored in the app, so we can see what was agreed and sort it out with you and the professional.

Question 6

I signed up with Apple and can't get into my account on Android - or I ended up with two accounts. What now?

Accepted Answer

Your account belongs to the sign-in method you used, not to your name - always sign in with the same button you registered with. If you left “Hide My Email” switched on when signing up with Apple, Apple created a hidden address like something@privaterelay.appleid.com and the account was created on that address, not on your usual email. Sign in with Apple is offered only on iPhone and iPad - there is no Apple button on Android. If you sign in there some other way (Google or a regular email), a second, empty account is created; you usually spot it when a message says the birth number from your Bank iD already belongs to another account. Nothing is lost: sign in and verify your phone number in the app - once the app recognizes the number already belongs to your original account, it offers to reconnect it, and the second, empty account is then closed automatically. Only if the original account is already verified with Bank iD will the offer not appear (for security reasons) - in that case write to info@fixit.app and we will link the accounts manually. If you use both iPhone and Android, choose “Share My Email” when signing up with Apple.
