Safety and work equipment
This is the rule from your employment contract (informative translation — the Czech original is binding):
"Before starting, the worker checks the workplace, tools and protective equipment. They do not use damaged or unfamiliar equipment, do not enter areas outside the agreed task, and do not perform any activity for which they lack authorisation or a safe procedure. Assigned items are used for work only and returned after finishing according to the employer's instructions."
Not sure whether a procedure is safe?
Don't start. Ask Fixáček in the support chat or contact support — never perform work for which you lack authorisation or a safe procedure.
Injury, damage and obstacles
This is the rule from your employment contract (informative translation — the Czech original is binding):
"The worker immediately reports an injury, near-miss, hazard, damage, conflict, illness or inability to finish the work to FixIt support; in an urgent case they first secure safety and call for help. Liability for damage is not determined automatically based on the client's complaint, and nothing is deducted from the remuneration without a legal basis."
Damage is not deducted automatically
A client filing a complaint does not by itself mean you are liable for the damage. Liability is always assessed — and without a legal basis nothing is deducted from your pay.
How to report an incident
The fastest route is Fixáček — the support chat that is always at hand in the app. Tell it what happened; Fixáček knows which screen you are on, so it links the report to the job you are working on and hands it over to the FixIt team.
Open the Fixáček chat
Tap the floating Fixáček bubble — it is available on every screen of the app.
Describe what happened
An injury, near-miss, hazard, damage, conflict, illness or inability to finish the work — your own words are enough. You can attach photos too.
Fixáček records and forwards the report
The report is stored, the FixIt team is alerted immediately and will get back to you. In serious situations Fixáček shows you the emergency contacts right away.
Emergency contacts
In case of an injury or another threat to health or life, first secure safety and call the ambulance service on 155, or the single European emergency number 112.
Then let FixIt know — by phone on +420 702 140 894 or +420 735 124 376, by e-mail at company@fixit.app, or via Fixáček in the app.
Safety and help first, reporting second
Ambulance 155 · Emergency line 112. Inform FixIt right afterwards — reporting in the app never takes priority over calling for help.
FAQ
- Do I have to report a minor near-miss when nobody got hurt?
- Yes. Under the contract a near-miss is an event you immediately report to FixIt support — it is exactly these reports that help prevent a real injury next time. A few sentences to Fixáček in the chat are enough.
- The client claims I damaged something. Will it be deducted from my pay?
- Not automatically. Liability for damage is not determined just by the client's complaint, and without a legal basis nothing is deducted from your remuneration. Report the event as soon as possible and describe what happened — the FixIt team will assess it.
- What if I cannot finish the work — for instance due to illness?
- Inability to finish the work is also an event you immediately report to FixIt support. Write to Fixáček about what happened and you will agree on the next steps.
- The client wants extra work I am not trained for. Can I do it?
- No. Under the contract you do not perform any activity for which you lack authorisation or a safe procedure, and you do not enter areas outside the agreed task. Report the client's request to support — they will discuss extending the job with the client where possible.
