Competition "FixIt Points and Code Game"
1. Data Controller
The data controller is:
FixIt.app s.r.o., with registered office at Choratická 2734/6, Company ID: 23725681, registered in the Commercial Register (hereinafter referred to as "controller" or "organizer").
The controller is also the organizer of the competition "FixIt Points and Code Game" (hereinafter referred to as "competition") according to the rules published at /soutez/pravidla. The competition takes place from January 1, 2026 to June 28, 2026.

2. What Personal Data We Process
As part of the competition, we process the following participant data:
- Identification data: name, surname, and optionally nickname / username
- Contact data: email, phone number, delivery address (for winners for prize delivery)
- Competition participation data: competition account, points earned, referral codes, information about completed competition tasks
- Prize and winner communication data
- Technical data: IP address, access logs to the competition system (for fraud protection)
Providing this data is voluntary, but without it, participation in the competition is not possible.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal data for the following purposes:
1. Competition Organization and Management
Participant registration, competition account management, point calculation, competition evaluation, lottery and winner determination, rule compliance monitoring.
Legal basis: contract performance (participation in the competition according to competition rules).
2. Prize Notification and Delivery
Contacting winners, verifying their identity, arranging the prize delivery method, sending or delivering the prize.
Legal basis: contract performance and the controller's legitimate interest (proper completion of the competition).
3. Winner Publication
Publishing the winner's name and first letter of surname, or nickname, on the organizer's website and social networks, to the extent specified in the competition rules.
Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (competition transparency, informing other participants).
4. Protection of Controller's Rights and Legitimate Interests
Prevention of fraudulent behavior, rule compliance monitoring, handling complaints and potential legal claims.

5. Fulfillment of Legal Obligations
Particularly accounting, tax obligations, archiving documents related to prize delivery in accordance with legal regulations.
Legal basis: fulfillment of the controller's legal obligations.
4. Personal Data Retention Period
We process participants' personal data:
- for the duration of the competition and its evaluation,
- for the period necessary to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting documents, typically 5-10 years according to legal regulations),
- for the period necessary to protect legitimate interests (e.g., for resolving potential disputes, up to the statute of limitations period).
Data we no longer need is securely deleted or anonymized.
5. Personal Data Recipients
Your personal data may only be shared with a limited group of entities:
- IT providers and competition platform operators (hosting, system administration),
- accounting, tax, and legal advisors (to the extent necessary),
- carriers / postal services (for delivery of physical prizes),
- public authorities, if required by law.
We have appropriate data processing agreements with all processors.
6. International Transfers
We generally do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.
If we use providers based outside the EU/EEA (e.g., certain cloud services), this is done only with appropriate safeguards under GDPR (particularly standard contractual clauses).
7. Your Rights
As a competition participant, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access to personal data
- Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), by sending an email to legal@fixit.app
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to data portability, if processing is based on contract and is automated

8. Voluntary Participation
Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for participation in the competition.
Without providing the required data, we cannot create your competition account, calculate points, or contact you in case of winning.
9. Consent
By participating in the competition, you confirm that you have read these Personal Data Processing Principles and acknowledge them.
